Summer Faves

You knooooooow how much I love my STUFF, so time for another fluffy girly things-I-like post, only this time I'm talkin bout specifically summer stuff. Yesssssss. No dudes really read this blog anyway, right?

First up-

Sephora Face Tanning Water

I have a family trip to Florida in a few weeks and though ideally I'd go get myself a spray tan, that's not gonna happen. If they invented a safe-for-babies booth, then sure. I need something easy to un-paste-ify myself, and this has been great. It's like a toner, so you just put a bit on a cotton ball and apply to your face. No stink, no mess. It is pricey for self tanners, but because it's watery, a little bit goes a really long way.

Sunnylife Popscile Molds

My mom and I were shopping at J. Crew where she found these (random!) silicone popsicle molds. They're not currently on the J. Crew website, but Nordstrom Rack has these. I tried these out this past weekend and filled one with chocolate almond milk. The 2 year old LOVED his "chocolate popsicle." It's literally easy squeazy.

I bought one of these for Mac since we do one-day trips out to the lake often. I hate grabbing plastic grocery bags for wet gear. After buying his I figured why not buy them for each of us- note I bought the least kiddie of them for my husband (NO, his is not the airplane one).

As a teen I used to actively seek out the lowest SPF I could find. SPF 4. Yes, please. Now I would almost wrap myself in tin foil to deflect the sun's rays. Must...undo...sun...damage. I spent a lot of time (a whole TWENTY MINUTES) researching top rated sunscreens and this topped most of the lists. Yeah it's pricey, but preventing skin cancer is worth it.

I bought this oil at VS last year and loooove it. When I'm going to be out in the sun I'll spray this in my hair so it doesn't turn into straw. You can use it as a moisturizer too. The spray nozzle is super convenient.

I rarely meet a nail polish that I don't like. OPI Strawberry Margarita has been my toesies go-to for a long time but I'm digging the slightly darker pink. Now that I'm no longer pregnant, it is really nice to be able to reach my own toes again. Ha.

There you go- my two cents about what's fun for the summer!
